I did two srequests this morning right around the time that wasted went down. I get my mail on wasted and when it came up, I had received my copy of ONE of the srequests, ptos-4123-tmark. I did NOT receive my copy of the second srequest, ptos-4122-tmark. Can somebody tell me if I should "redo" that srequest? Thanks, Tim

Date Of Receipt: 15-DEC-1995 13:05:53.13 From: SMURF::SEAN::davidson "D. Sean Davidson 15-Dec-1995 1302" To: sean::tmark CC: sean::odehelp Subj: Re: Should I "srequest" again? Tim, wasted is not involved with doing the submit request unless mail is being sent to someone one that system. Both of your submit requests are in the system. Any mail that was destined to some on wasted should requeue itself when wasted restarts. Sean p.s. You should fix your sendmail.cf file. You are sending your mail through <user>@crl.dec.com. |
