Subj: problem with bsubmit.hold
Our ODE server was rebooted today around 1pm to remedy some network problems.
Unfortunately, Gayle was in the middle of a submit and merge (of 1 file) when it
happened.
Basically, we'd like to clean up ODE and pretend like this submit never happened,
and start the bsubmit all over again. Gayle told me that she tried to remove her
entry for the bsubmit.hold file and it didn't seem to work. So I tried; and it
didn't work for me either:
ronyon:osf1refpages.pt:devbld> sadmin -rm 12:55 -user Gayle_Barooshian
>> WARNING in holdcleanup:
>> No startline, : Gayle_Barooshian; Date: 10/4/95; Time: 12:55, in hold file:
bsubmit.hold.
>> FATAL ERROR in sadmin:
>> submitted files may still be held.
Please Notify Release Engineering
ronyon:osf1refpages.pt:devbld> more bsubmit.hold
: Gayle_Barooshian; Date: 10/4/95; Time: 12:55
./BASE/OSF/man2/setpgid.2
What I will do is manually edit the bsubmit.hold file, but it seems like something
is not working in sadmin. I talked to John Flanagan about this and he suggested I
send mail.
