Related, I'm sure, to the bdiff report - - I had several workon sessions
active before this weekend, when all the nfs & ode servers were taken
down;  I found that when I tried to exit a workon I got a core dump, after
resolving all the lost nfs mounts.

'file' said:
% file core
core:   core dump, core file is incomplete

'strings' indicates it's from workon:
% strings core | head -2

workon

I tried to look at this with dbx and got this:
