Is this an old workon or a new one? The whole environment went down over the
weekend, so an old workon would be invalid. Check that your backingtree is
really available (ie ls -l tree) and do a new kinit and re-enter your workon.
If you still have trouble, try kinit -d and then workon -debug -sb ...

It looks like my original mail was cut down. It stated that I
could do a
bdiff -r1.1.7.6 connection.c
and I got no messages and the command gave me the bdiff.
I did have a ticket, so that was not the problem.
As I stated in my original message, since I could do the
above mentioned command, I didn't investigate and just
wanted to bring this problem to ode helpers attention.
Thinking perhaps it was a known problem, or that the
backing tree wasn't set up properly or 'something'.
