Subj: HELP ! failed checkin to BL8
I have been trying unsuccessfully to check in 20 files into Platinum BL8.
On the first bsubmit (ptos-3058-corbin) I aborted during the merge phase
to check the original source to verify the merge on a file. When i did
the -resub I had a problem which i can't explain: 2 files got ci errors
of not being locked but were checked in anyway. THe submit checked in
the rest of the files (except the merge files which I ignored on this second
pass) and all the checked in files were deleted from my tree. I then
did another -resub to handle the files I had to merge. They were checked
in ok but then I got stat errors on all the other files. At this point
I cannot proceed and don't have a clue on how to handle this.
None of the files are in the ptos tree at this point and seem to be in a
'hold' state, whatever that is.
I need some emergency help. I will be working from home until Tuesday
which is the BL8 deadline and I really needed to get this stuff checked
in by today. I can be reached by email but voice would provide more
bandwith for me to explain the situation a little more coherently.
I can be reached at: (4130 245-9725.
Thanks
Steve Corbin
