Subj: bdiff bug...Vipul will file a PTT
Doing a bdiff against a "linked" file generates the following error. If you
bco the file, bdiff works fine. If you did a mklinks, this error occurs. I
was able to reproduce this on flume. Vipul is filing a PTT against it now.

Hi John,
I am getting the following messages when trying to
perform bdiff against a src/cde1/dtlogin/config/Xsession.src.
It seems that either the file system is not available
or rcs is corrupted.
*** Note that Xsession.src is a link. Vipul did not originally note this ****
csh> bdiff -r 2.1.2.10 Xsession.src
[ ./cde1/dtlogin/config/Xsession.src ]
ODE_CLIENT Error: In trying to send file to the server.Status of file
./cde1/dtlogin/config/Xsession.src not a regular file
didn't transmit data file
ODE_SERVER Error: read() socket. Trying to read exists flag.
Check network errors.: Operation would block
bdiff: The following rcs command failed:
