Hi-

Perhaps I misunderstand, but: I'm in a BL7 sandbox, but there's one
file that I've previously modified and bsubmitted, since BL7.
I want that file, with mods, in my sandox.

    bmerge -r ptos ppp_if.c 
or
    bmerge -rptos ppp_if.c 

Dont' do it, but

    bmerge -r1.1.3.3 ppp_if.c 

works. Note that I got the rev_no from the ptos pool.

Isn't there a way I can specify the pool and get the rev_no automatically?

Sure, public branch labels are all CAPS. When you looked up the rev number you
also should have seen the branch labels and the numbers associated with them.

try bmerge -rPTOS ppp_if.c

Steve,

try bmerge -r$NEW filename.

This will pull the latest version of the file into your sandbox.

bmerge -rPTOS filename will also work [note that it is in capital letters] 
assuming that the file has been submitted to platinum.
