Date Of Receipt: 18-AUG-1995 12:41:12.77 From: SMURF::WASTED::pjg "Pam Gaudette USG" To: [email protected] CC: Subj: Access to ptdx backing tree Hi: My question has to do with submitting a fix to ptdx: when I issue my bsubmit command: bsubmit -defect ptdx-433-pjg -all -auto_out I get the following error messages: *** No user interaction will be required during the merge step. *** cannot find include file ../link/rc_files/shared.sharedsandbox >> FATAL ERROR in /usr/sde/ode3.0/tools/alpha_ace/bin/ode/bsubmit: >> No Access to Backing Tree Through link dir:/share/secret/build/submits.dsk2/ptdx/rc_files/../link Error parsing rc description file ./shared >> FATAL ERROR in /usr/sde/ode3.0/tools/alpha_ace/bin/ode/bsubmit: >> No Access to Backing Tree Through link dir:/share/secret/build/submits.dsk2/ptdx/rc_files/../link Error parsing rc description file ./shared.sharedsandbox >> FATAL ERROR in /usr/sde/ode3.0/tools/alpha_ace/bin/ode/bsubmit: >> Unable to parse sandbox Please take appropriate steps and run bsubmit again. - No work has been done for this submission. - No files have been changed in any way. - The files in this submission are not held. - The use of the -resub option is not required and will not be recognized. I have set up my system as you have suggested: NFS locking is on and my path has /use/sde/tools/`machine`_`uname`\bin specified. I would appreciate any suggestions? thanks pam gaudette dtn: 381-0076
