Subj: build and lint
Hi -
I'm trying to lint some code using 'build' via ODE. I am
having some trouble trying to get the appropriate arguments
sent to the build process.
What I would like to do is to specify certain files to be
'linted' with the -Qu option (64 bit porting). I tried this
by entering
build BINARY_lint LINTFILES=ics_cli.o LINTFLAGS=-Qu
What I get is build attempting to lint all of the files and the
Qu flag I specified is ignored. Is there some information that
I am missing?
The current workaround is to build the files I need using
build BINARY_ MAKE_ARGS=ics_cli.o CPP_ONLY=-E > ics_cli.i
to get the .i file and then run lint locally on the .i file.
Is this an easier/more appropriate solution?
Thanks,
