Blue, the SYMLINKS rule is part of the install phase. You need to
do a build install_all or install_targetname to verify this. If you
haven't done this before, here's the quick-easy way:
As root, ln -s ~tabor/.sandboxrc /
Now as you, workon -sb <sandbox>
su root
TOSTAGE=/path/to/install/to
export TOSTAGE
(eg TOSTAGE could be /tmp, /tmp/output, /sandbox-path/output)
cd directory in question
build install_all
or
build install_librt.a

Subject: question about creating softlinks
Status: R
Hi, Josh. Dave Metsky referred me to you with the
following question:
i have modified /usr/ccs/lib/Makefile to add librt.a to the SYMLINKS
line. *How* do I get the link into the directory? I must do a
submit and report how I verified that the link worked. I assume
that once I get the link in, I can verify by a simple ls -l.
Comments? Thanks!
