Hi -

I ran into a little trouble with a bsubmit earlier today and was
wondering if I could get some help.

I had been working on a QAR in the kernel/rpc area. After bci'ing
and submitting an srequest I had moved the directory to kernel/rpc.save.
When I executed the bsubmit I noticed that a message came up saying that
it was going to create kernel/rpc (since it currently did not exist).
I aborted the process (Ctrl-C) so that I could rename kernel/rpc.save
back to kernel/rpc. After the Ctrl-C I got the message:

*** SUBMISSION INTERRUPTED BY USER ***

*** RE-SUBMISSION REQUIRED ***

- Source control information is in an intermediate state.
- Re-submit using -resub 13:03 [ -date 5/30/95 ]

When I tried to do 'bsubmit -resub 13:03 -date 5/30/95' I got the
message:

rlog error: ./kernel/nfs/kernel/rpc/RCS/auth_kern.c,v: No such file or directory
>> FATAL ERROR in /usr/sde/ode2.0/tools/alpha_ace/bin/ode/bsubmit:
>> rlog command failed

Please take appropriate steps and re-submit.

*** RE-SUBMISSION REQUIRED ***

- Source control information is in an intermediate state.
- Re-submit using -resub 13:03 [ -date 5/30/95 ]

The same message appears everytime I try to bsubmit with -resub.

How can I get around this problem? Is there a way to make it start
from the beginning again?

Please let me know if it would be easier for me to stop by and explain
the problem.

Thank you,

It looks like you are not in the directory you were in when you checked out the
file and created the entry for your set. Try cd'ing to src/kernel/rpc and
retrying. It's expecting to find the file at the top of the rcs tree which
says your location doesn't match.
