results.

Check your path. There is a usr/bin/bdiff shipped with the system that will
not work in the context of ode. The one you want is:

/usr/sde/tools/alpha_OSF1/bin/bdiff

I usually define my path in .cshrc like this:

set toolspath=( /usr/sde/tools/`machine`_`uname`/bin )
set path=( $toolspath /usr/ucb /bin /usr/bin /sbin /usr/sbin .....
