I've since found out that I should have made it to the PTlite build instead. Rather than doing the bco/bci/bsubmit business (and get a brand new Rev level in the files), I would simply like to have the Rev list updated in the PTlite tree. Is this possible? If I do a bco, bci, etc, will this files then be folded upwards back into the PT build? Thanks for any assistance/insight, Bob ------- End of Forwarded Message

These are two physically different pools. The only way that code gets in is via direct submission. You can't change a version number and have the file appear in Ptlite, because the trees aren't created from RCS, and we'd still need the record of your submission to ptlite. Dual submissions are very common and will not cause a problem when pt needs to back to ptlite, the file can simply be eliminated from the mergelist. To solve your problem, bco the file in a ptlite sandbox, plug in the work you did (or the whole file if that is the correct thing) from platinum, then bci and bsubmit. -Grant | Joe, | | I fixed a CLD and submitted the code to the PT build.
