Subj: Help: can't relink my kernel...
Here's the prob:
I rebuilt some of my .o's to be -g and am now trying to relink my Flamingo
vmunix. I get:
...
loading vmunix.sys
/usr/sde/osf1/build/ptos.nightly/tools/alpha_OSF1/alpha/acc/ld:
Can't create output file (Read-only file system)
*** Exit 1
Stop.

Stop.
================
I thought it might be a module - so I removed all module links in BINARY
to the backing tree and did a build BINARY_MODULES and then relinked my
FLAMINGO/MODULE_xxx.o's to point to my BINARY area but no luck.
Obviously its trying to write into the backing tree - but which file/module?
The files I rebuilt with -g are:
nfs_subr.o nfs_vnodeops.o nfs_client.o nfs_vfsops.o nfs_xdr.o prop_xdr.o
vfs_syscalls.o vfs_lookup.o
