Subj: Problem building a JENSEN kernel using ptos.nightly.
Yesterday when I left I was in the process of building the BINARY
directory. When I came in this morning and attempted to build a JENSEN kernel
I received some undefined symbol errors. In investigating the problem it appears
that some of the object modules that were built in the BINARY directory where
not the most recent. Doing a what on some of the .o's showed edit tags that
were not the most recent when comparing them to the sources. If I delete the
.o and do a mklinks then a what shows that I'm now pointing to the most
recent module. Problem is that I'm not confident that the other object modules
are the most recent. Is it possible that I was doing this build of the BINARY
directory while things were changing out from under me? Can I be certain that
if I start to build the BINARY directory now that I will get the latest changes?
Thanks.
