The intention of my build script is to build all of the interesting kernels
for our test environment with -g instead of -g3 or nothing for all kernel
files. This is done by modifying CDEBUGOPTS in the config file and removing
optimize entries from the files file.

I'm using a snapshot of last Monday's ptos.nightly. My understanding is
that ptos.nightly will only be updated when a build is successful, so I
should have some level of confidence that it will build. There could be
some problem with our sup of ptos.nightly, but I doubt it.

Yes, the error was arived at when trying to link the FLAMINGO vmunix. The
compilation log does not identify which module referenced _OtsZero. Do you
guys know an easy way to do this? The only way I know of is to run nm
against every .o using find, collect the output in a file, and search the
file for the symbol then page up or down to identify the file.

Thanks,

Alan

_OtsZero was never added to the kernel routines (there was never
a reference).

I take it that something changed where it now needs to be.

Which file is it?
