Martin,
What is the proper address for jasper? We have it down as:
jasper.BXB.DEC.Com
Is this not correct?

hostname returns jasper.eng.pko.dec.com, but that last time we looked into this it seemed that sometimes our machines
appear to be in domain .BXB.DEC.Com. I do not understand why, but assume that some network magic was involved.
Grant Van Dyck figured it out.
I would suggest that jasper and ode2 be listed as in both domains, which would minimize the impact of network vagueries.
It seems like a very strange problem.

Martin,
Try your sup again. The new host file is in place now.
