Unfortunately, when I attempt a build to my output directory, I receive the error that /usr/lib/nls/msg/en_US.ISO8859-1/Mail.cat doesn't exist. I have attempted this more than once and I get the same error. I have done a build all of ./usr/include, ./usr/css/lib/libc, and ./usr/shlib to create a minimally populated environment. Any information on the missing file or how to resolve this problem would be helpful. I am also having a problem testing ./sbin/Makefile. The Makefile creates a great deal of files. Unfortunately, the minimally populated environment described above takes up a lot of disk space. I don't have enough disk space to create the sbin files. Are there any files I can get rid of from the environment that sould not effect the creation of the sbin files? Thanks in advance, Karen Richards DTN: 462-6002

The only way I can think of to save space would be to do a mklinks in the obj part of your sandbox to the libc and shlib areas; but I believe that is not possible in unx since you don't bring down the obj areas. I believe that ./sbin/Makefile will not need anything in ./usr/shlib, since it builds static images. So after you have tested ./usr/lib/Makefile, you can blow away [or compress temporarily] ./usr/shlib/* in the obj area and then do your ./sbin/Makefile work.
