Well, you can't do odemount unless you're root and you can't be root on alpha.
The production machines use automount to access the trees, except there are so
many trees on fbi, it's exceeded the limit of NIS. Sooooo what to do.
Don't back by goldos, it's on;y a partially populated shared sandbox with no
exports anyway. Use goldos.bl12, which is fully populated and represents SSB
for Gold.
