Subj: Re: request to undefunct a file
Sandy, this is basically undoing a submit which went through
the normal submit request/review/approval (I assume).
Please initiate another srequest to have the file undefuncted.
This is really for tracking purposes. Once we undefunct the
file, it will will need to be submitted back (by you or someone).
We cannot just undefunct the file without your first proposing
this be done and having Mark, who's work you'd be undoing,
review this as well.
In the meantime, if you want to just check out the file, you
can check out the version that was in clusters just before
the defunct submit.
Get the version you want (4 digit number) from
blog -rCLUSTWAV3OS file
then
bco -u -r#.#.#.# file
this will check-out unlocked (readonly) the file.

Could I get the file /usr/sbin/Makefile un-defunced in the
clustrwav3os pool? I don't know why it was made defunct
but it does not seem like that was a good thing to do. Mark
Longo made the change and is not here today so that I can
ask him about it.
Thanks
Sandy

Subj: Re: request to undefunct a file
Could someone, *anyone*, please show me exactly what to do to
undefunct the Makefile. Frankly I have no idea how this file got defunct'd
in the first place. It was certainly not intentional on my part, so
obviously no srequest was done by me to remove the file. Given that this
was accidental and that it is HOLDING UP CLUSTER WORK, could somebody
please make getting this file back a priority?
I anxiously await explicit instructions on what I should do, as I
am clearly an ode initiate.
thanks,
Mark
