Subj: Kerberose problem.

Hello,

I am from Digital India. I have installed kerberose client on my system
(deil.bbi.dec.com) when it was in UNX (aka deil.unx.dec.com).

Now, this m/c is in Bombay, India.

When I try to do kinit (supply principal name and password), I get an
error 'kinit: Time is out of bounds (krb_rd_req)'.

However, when I set the clock back to EST, kinit issues a ticket to me.

What would be the solution so this problem (and still clock is set to
local time) ??????

FYI, India is now 10.30 hours ahead of EST.

	Thanks.

Rgds

Nitin,

When you moved the machine back to India, did you reset the timezone, or just
alter the clock by 10:30? If the latter, you need to reconfigure it to the
correct timezone. Sorry, I don't know how to do that; I've never moved a machine
further than 500 feet :-)
