Subj: Where to build a component?
Hi,
I'm a newcomer in the environment, and don't have a workstation in the
UEG build environment yet.
Are there preferred systems for building a component during the day,
or do people just use the timesharing systems (in my case, Quarry)?
I want to experiment with building ld, and want to do it in as
low-profile way as possible. I thought if threr are dedicated
day-building machines, that would be a way to minimize my impact.
Thanks for any pointers.

Al,
There are no special rules to when and where to build components. Using
the production machines is good because then you don't have to do any of
the ode setup and mounting of backing trees.
The only thing you might need to be carefull of is having enough disk
space for your account on the production systems.
