Subject: I've been lucky in the past, however
In the past after I've modified your version of nfs_server.c I'd
recompile by doing the following:
. removing a local .o file from my /sys/FUNTIME dir
. doing a make of that file to get an example of a cc line
. duplicate the "cc" line to use in compiling nfs_server.c.
I'm getting a very strange panic when I do this with OSF 3.0, even
when I comment out the lines I've modified to call my code. It almost
appears that instead of passing a pointer to a structure it's passing
the structure. Would it be possible for you to get me the correct cc
line to compile nfs_server.c, init_sysent.c and syscalls.c.
(e.g. When you have a nightly build is there a log created that would have
those lines in it ?)
Also, is it possible that your using a different compiler ?
I noticed the use of the -EL switch to cc which is not listed in my man page
for cc.
If you can help it would be greatly appreciated.
Scott
P.S.
It would be nice if I could setup an environment where I could use your
Makefiles and I did made a stab at it, but I never got it working. It's
probably an over kill to recompile three files. (nfs_server.c, init_sysent.c,
and syscalls.c)
