996.0. "Mark, here s the problem with kerberos" by SMURF::FILTER (Automatic Posting Software - mail to flume::puck) Tue Oct 11 1994 17:28

Subj: Mark, here's the problem with kerberos
It worked for me and that's because I have kerberos (yield) as the
1st entry in my krb.conf file, but the default for everyone else
is flume, and if you ask flume what time it is:
cardinal mjr/decc [42] rsh flume date
Tue Oct 11 12:58:00 EDT 1994
It's a little sluggish. :-)
Can you fix it? Given the problems with flume and kerberos lately,
perhaps it'd be good if it didn't map to the 1st entry and a more
reliable host was called that.
