Jim, I've looked at both of the files which error'd, and for each of
them they look like you've got a lock on them (rcs -l was locking them
in your name/set: Jim_McHale_pt2), and neither is 'in use' anymore,
so either RCS recovered by itself, or you've taken corrective action
already.

Jim, looks like everything's ok for these files; can you file a problem
report (run gen-ptt in the sandbox and select the bmerge component;
be sure to put in a line under Abstract as well as the problem description.
Be sure to mention that the proper locks seemed to have been created in
spite of the message.  If you system can't send mail, select exit instead
of mail at the end, and copy the ptt-temp file to another system and
mail it with the To and Subj listed in the top of the file.
