Make sure you have the following lines in the inetd.conf and services files
on host brandy.unx.dec.com

/etc/inetd.conf
srequest stream tcp nowait root /usr/sde/osf1/bin/alpha_OSF1/srequest srequest

/etc/services
srequest 12001/tcp

If these are not there, then add them and then do a kill -HUP of the inetd
process to reload them.

Thanks to all of you for bringing our shared sandbox to work as before. Both
srequest and bsubmit work now.
