if a shared sb, then i think you do need a srvtab.
the admin folks aren't in this afternoon. A few of us
are filling in for them. I don't know how to create
a srvtab for you.
you'll need to send admin directly a request for this.
sorry I can't help much more. If this is a serious
emergency, I have telephone numbers.

Subj: Shared Sandbox Problem
Mike,
Thanks for your help.
I updated the srvtab file and the bsubmit works now. But I still get a problem with
srequest which I thought srvtab file might also fix.
$ srequest
ERROR: The submit request server is down.
Please contact release engineering at [email protected]
to correct this problem.

I am missing the brandy-new-srvtab file on the shared sandbox machine. DO you
think this could be the problem. If true how I build it from scratch.

This looks like ptcde.bl12 has not been ode mounted on the system you are
trying to create the sandbox on.
