Subj: Re: "Can't get net id for host"
Well, for starters, you must run bind to use ODE, or you won't be able
to get kerberos authentication as your krb.conf file looks like:
ZONE
ZONE kerberos1.zk3.dec.com
ZONE kerberos2.zk3.dec.com
ZONE kerberos3.zk3.dec.com
ZONE kerberos4.zk3.dec.com
ZONE kerberos.zk3.dec.com
ZONE kerberos.zk3.dec.com admin dummy
You need to be able to do an nslookup of kerberos and have it return:
Name: yield.zk3.dec.com
Address: 16.140.0.12
Aliases: kerberos.zk3.dec.com
Now as for the odemount problem, goldos.nightly lives on cia. Can you
root@cardinal [31] nslookup cia
Server: flambe.zk3.dec.com
Address: 16.140.96.19
Name: cia.zk3.dec.com
Address: 16.140.48.24
Or ping it?
Or mount it by hand?
# mkdir -p /share/cia/build/goldos.dsk6
# mount cia:/share/cia/build/goldos.dsk6 /share/cia/build/goldos.dsk6
If not then your machine is hosed in some other way.
