Please read if you ever enter new Principal names...

Recently, some inappropriate PRINCIPAL names have been created, one
which caused actual submit problems and two others which were only
convention problems, but all of these caused a fair amount of cleanup
and repair work when the initial principal name was changed to a new one.

I think that probably there was never any communication to newer
members of UES about what is and isn't appropriate for a principal name.

Here are our conventions:

Valid PRINCIPAL names are full first and last names with
underscores; no hyphens or apostrophes. An additional
underscore can be used in place of a hyphen.

Here are some examples (taken from real life):

Patrick_O'Rourke - broken Patrick_ORourke - good
Chung-Lin_Hsu - broken ChungLin_Hsu or Chung_Lin_Hsu - good
S_Adams - inappropriate Stephanie_Adams - good
Rich_Page - ok but informal Richard_Page - better

Thanks very much.
