Pat, if you run automount, there's an auto.build map which covers
everything you'd need to odemount; this map is also part of a
full map for zk3.  If you run automount with the full map, then
ignore odemount; don't try to make any of these mount directories
either; you'll be fighting with automount (which puts links there).

Some people choose to run automount only on the home directory map.

in the admin group ([email protected]).  In general, if you're having
system environment type problems, mail to admin, for general ode
usage problems, mail to odehelp, and for build problems, mail
to buildhelp.      Thanks.

Yes I tried this.  I get the feeling my machine is having trouble
talking to certain others (e.g. cia, nsa).  For example, I can get
access to file systems on kgb, but not ones on cia.  See below:

# cd /net/kgb
# ls
share  usr
# cd /net/cia
/net/cia: No such file or directory
#
