Once again I am running into similar problems. The bsubmit command seems to
be hung. I have included the output of ps and bdiff command done from another
terminal. Is there a lock on that file?

I'm trying to submit to v32csupportos, and it's been taking far longer than
it should (like, > 30 min for a 14-file submit). A 'ps' gave this:
4120 ttyp1 I + 0:00.02 ode_client rcs -q -l4.2.7.2./usr/sbin/quota/Makefile,v
^
this ------^ means, (from the ps man page...)
I Idle (sleeping longer than about 20 seconds) process.
any ideas?

Doug, please do another 'ps' to see if it's exactly in the same place
or just going very slowly. Also check the file HH:MM.Doug... and
HH:MM.bcssteps where HH:MM are your bsubmit start time to see if these
files are ever changing (look at their timestamps) or if they are
unchanged since before 11:32 when you sent the mail.
What output has come to the screen since starting?

Something ugly's happening on the net, but I'm unable to determine what. I've
noticed many things are very slow, and several nightly updates failed or got
wedged part way through and had to be restarted.
If anybody from admin can shed any light on what's happening it'd be helpful.
