Hi Paul,

Thanks for un-defuncting those files.  For the overwhelming most part,
I was able to manipulate them in the way that I wanted to.  Unfortunately,
there seem to be a couple of stragglers.

After a seemingly successful bco and bci, I get this message on
the bsubmit for DXpPath45.tcl:

    54 QA monterio> bsubmit -noauto_out DXpPath45.tcl
    File: ./Xtea/Clients/dxprint/Paths/DXpPath45.tcl
    is held by: Steve_Schneider; Date: 5/20/94; Time: 15:22

    - No work has been done for this submission.
    - No files have been changed in any way.
    - The files in this submission are not held.
    - The use of the -resub option is not required and will not be recognized.

The .BCSconfig file indicates that DXpPath45.tcl is defunct.

Also after a seemingly successful bco and bci, this is printed after
the bsubmit for DXpPath100.tcl:

    58 QA monterio> bsubmit -noauto_out DXpPath100.tcl
    >> FATAL ERROR in bsubmit:
    >> No information for file in .BCSconfig file.
    >> File: './Xtea/Clients/dxprint/Paths/DXpPath100.tcl'

    Please take appropriate steps and run bsubmit again.
    - No work has been done for this submission.
    - No files have been changed in any way.
    - The files in this submission are not held.
    - The use of the -resub option is not required and will not be recognized.

The .BCSconfig file doesn't appear to contain a line for this file.
(I guess it told me that itself.)  But it doesn't seem to me that bcreate
is the right thing to do in this situation.

Do you know which command enters info in the .BCSconfig file?

When I do bco and bci on DXpPath100.tcl, these two commands seem
to be perfectly successful.  However, the bsubmit command fails thus:

It doesn't seem that bcreate would be appropriate, but bci doesn't
seem to place the .BCSconfig information in the way that I would have
hoped it to.  

I suppose I could just edit the .BCSconfig file.  Is there any
reason why I shouldn't do that?

This is what bci tells me after I've entered my log message.

) undefuncted (with success).This is why you have a lock on the file from

Ah.  Is this why I don't seem to have a lock?

Again, though the bco and bci seemed to go just fine, I had this failure
on the bsubmit, and I don't understand what the error messages are telling me.
