The automount maps are awry. Try kill -TERM on automount and restarting
it.

I am having the same problem today.
Yesterday, I was able to odemount goldos around 11AM.

I am having a problem mounting goldos.nightly.
It maybe that I am not on the acl(?) list.
I'm a writer in the usg doc group.
I have a file to submit to the /usr/examples directory.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Tom,
Acl lists have nothing to do with mounts, however, you do
need to be able to write into a filesystem as root. You
don't need to mkdir as you did, but it won't hurt (odemount
does the needed mkdir).
You do not want to have fstab entries for this mount. You
also need to not be running automount if you want to use odemount.
(at least not on the full map or the auto.build map)
It looks like maybe you're just not running odemount as root:
Try this, as root:
# /usr/sde/odemount -v goldos.nightly
The -v will echo the mount command, which may be useful
if there are more problems.
