Subj: Question about Makefiles and exported header files

Hi,

	I have a hopefully simple question about exported header files and the
output area.

	A short time ago I submitted a change which caused a new header file to
be exported and end up in the output area. After reevaluating things we would
like to prevent the header file, latadp.h, from being exported. I added the
following line in the ./kernel/include/lat/engine/Makefile:

  ILIST			= latadp.h mtcdef.h

and the following line in the ./usr/include/lat/engine/Makefile:

  DATAFILES		= latadp.h mtcdef.h

	What is the purpose of the change to the
./kernel/include/lat/engine/Makefile as opposed to the change to the
./usr/include/lat/engine/Makefile??

	In order to keep the latadp.h file from being exported and included in
the output area do I need to remove latadp.h from both lines in both Makefiles??

	Thanks for your help and information.
