Subj: 	ODE backingtree servers "lastout" and "firstout" to be replaced by "nsa"

	developers on green-net, remote sup sites (suppers?), and
	general ODE backing tree users, this message is for you.

	NFS servers  "firstout"  and  "lastout"   will be replaced 
	by a new machine called "nsa".  All of the current backing
	trees which now reside on lastout and firstout will be 
	copied to nsa.    

	nsa is the first of several DEC3000-M600's which are 
	replacing our MIPS/ULTRIX based servers.   nsa will be 
	running DEC OSF/1 V2.0. 

	Here is the plan of dates related to this activity:	

	Wednesday, Apr 27 = The ode_fstab file will be modified to 
			    mount filesystems from nsa.

			  = Users who currently mount /usr/sde from 
		 	    either firstout or lastout should attempt 
			    to remount nsa:/usr/sde.

			  = ZKO sup collection lists to be modified to
			    reflect the host changes.   Remote sup sites
			    will need to modify their collections lists
			    also.


	 Thursday, Apr 28 = The current set of exports from firstout
	 		    and lastout will be removed, except for
		 	    /usr/sde for those of you who can't switch
			    on Wednesday.


  	   Friday, Apr 29 = Systems firstout and lastout will be brought 
			    down so that existing hardware resources can 
			    be reassigned to new servers.
