Subj: Problem Sup'ing Files
Hi,
A user is having trouble sup'ing the backing trees for the QAQC pool.
He can sup the submit tree without any problems. The error message
returned by sup is:
SUP: Can't change to base directory /usr/qcsde/build/src/qaqc.weekly
SUP: Upgrade of qaqc.weekly_pool aborted at Sun Apr 10 01:50:02 1994
Does this mean that sup can't access the backing tree or cannot access
the directory where the files are to be placed?
I have checked the backing trees (src, logs and sup directories) and
everything seems to be okay. I have asked the user to check his
coll.list, coll.dir and coll.host files to see if they are correct. I
also asked him to ensure that
the /usr/qcsde/build/src/... directories exist and have the correct permissions.
Any thoughts on what is happening?
