Date Of Receipt: 4-APR-1994 16:32:31.84 From: WASTED::"[email protected]" To: [email protected] CC: Subj: what happens when your backing tree changes It is my experence with the gold bl9 tree that when it was updated with bl9 pass 2 kernel .h files that were modified in pass 2 were not copied into the obj tree with 'build kernel/include/all'. This means that I cannot update between passes without a 4 hour recompile or selectivly deleting updated .h files (the job build should have done for me). Any ideas? Thanks, Alan

If it's the latter, your site does not sup the obj collection for this tree, so unless you build this locally you won't have it in any case. That collection is called goldos.bl9_obj. -Grant | It is my experence with the gold bl9 tree that when it was updated with | bl9 pass 2 kernel .h files that were modified in pass 2 were not copied | into the obj tree with 'build kernel/include/all'.
