Are you trying to run kpasswd on an osf machine? I believe there is
a bug in kpasswd such that it only works on ULTRIX...

Alan,
There is a notes conference for ode: DECWET::ODE
For kpasswd to work please make sure the system is setup as in
/usr/sde/CLIENT_INSTALLATION. Run /usr/sde/install/ultrix-ode-install
and indicate that you're a client - it will put in some system file
entries including kerberos_master entries in /etc/services.
If you are using the ZK-based kerberos database, here's an /etc/krb.conf
file you can use:
ZONE
ZONE lastin.zk3.dec.com
ZONE abyss.zk3.dec.com
ZONE flume.zk3.dec.com
ZONE krisis.zk3.dec.com
ZONE wasted.zk3.dec.com
ZONE merge.zk3.dec.com
ZONE merge.zk3.dec.com admin dummy
The final entry with "admin" is the one that kpasswd uses to find the master.

Subj: Kerberos Password
I'm not sure if this should go to odehelp or admin so I'm sending to both. Sorry
if it doesn't belong to you...
I need to know what the kerberos password is for the account
atmproj_Peter_Schulter
This is the account set up for me to do shared sandbox administration. I
need to do some submits but can't do a kinit.
Thanks,
--- pete
