Subj: re: mksb "default build" question
Peter, thanks for checking, but this one's allright as is. ODE tries to
first read your default sandbox (listed at the top of your ~/.sandboxrc file)
parameters to get some default values, but it doesn't rely on this. If
your default sandbox is no longer accessible (i.e. it's backing tree isn't
mounted), then you get these warnings, but everything works ok.
You can update what ode this is your default sb by editing ~/.sandboxrc.
When you just type "workon" with no "-sb ..." it defaults to that one.
Some people choose to have no default to avoid mistakes, by editing the rc
and removing the default. This is fine.
Note that mksb -def .... will make the new sandbox become the default.
In the future, all the checking for the default sb will go away, as will
the warnings.
Oh, and, by the way, in the future please send ode help type mail
to "odehelp" - I might answer, but so might a bunch of other people.

Subject: mksb question.

Josh,
I did a mksb and I get the warning below. I've just started using ode
and
don't want to just ignore the message until I'm a bit more experienced as to
what is going on...
thank you,
/peterc
