This morning I odemount'ed itg successfully.
Now I get this:

Dave, when did first see this error?  do you still?

please let me know where you mount /usr/sde from, i.e. do "df /usr/sde/"

On friday morning, there was an incorrect odemount in place which
caused this error, and it was fixed right away, though it may have
taken some time (like an hour or 2) to propagate to some hosts. 

It sounds like whereever you are getting odemount from, you've still
got the wrong one.

I get this error trying to odemount any osf disk: 	

# odemount goldos.bl12 <or any goldminos disk>
NFS Portmap: RPC: Port mapper failure - RPC: Unable to send

I brought down my system yesterday afternoon and I've been getting these
odemount errors ever since.
