It gives this error message: 37 troi> pwd /tmp_mnt/alpha/home/steves/sandboxes/testbox/src/Xtea/XTH/src 38 troi> bsh ls Multiple backing trees: 1) /usr/qcsde/build/src/Xtea/XTH/src 2) /qaqc/src/Xtea/XTH/src Select backing directory: 1 cd /usr/qcsde/build/src/Xtea/XTH/src /usr/sde/ode2.0/tools/alpha_OSF1/bin/bsh[103]: /usr/qcsde/build/src/Xtea/XTH/src : not found dec_vts_tools I expected a list of .c files at this point. Thanks, --steve ------- Forwarded Message Subject: Re: bsh In-Reply-To: Your message of "Tue, 01 Mar 94 10:27:13 PST." <[email protected]> Date: Tue, 01 Mar 94 16:57:33 -0500 From: [email protected] Hi, There seems to be a problem with bsh. I tried to use it on my sandbox and ran into the same problem. It seems to be looking in the wrong place. i.e. /usr/qcsde/build/src/Xtea/XTH/src, when it should be looking in /usr/qcsde/build/qaqc/src/Xtea/XTH/src or /usr/qcsde/build/qaqc.latest/src/Xtea/XTH/src I'm not that familiar with bsh so I think you should send mail to odehelp. They should be able to help. - -Paul ------- End of Forwarded Message

This is why your bsh is not working. Are you on the osf_developers alias? buffer should be back within the hour. ---------- To: osf_developers Cc: gpt, spt, odehelp Subject: buffer update... 1 1/2 - 2 hours more... Date: Tue, 01 Mar 94 16:23:26 -0500 From: John Flanagan <johnf> X-Mts: smtp As you may have guessed, we have had some unexpected delays in restoring buffer's submit filesystem to the normal working condition. You may have noticed that the system is up, but the ode/rcs and submit pools are still locked for checkouts, checkins, and submits, while the submit filesystem and system is being reconstructed/restored with more inode/gnode resources. Mail will be sent when everything is back to normal, however you will have to remount the submit pool(s) when it's done, if you are in zk3, i.e.: /* wait for mail that buffer's ok */ # /usr/sde/odemount -u goldos # /usr/sde/odemount goldos If you are concerned about the code freeze date for Gold, please contact one of the following: Darrell Dunnuck 1-0358 Cori Lewin 1-0508 Sarah Tappan 1-2925 They are aware of the situation with buffer. Again, we apologize for any and all annoyances. Release Engineering |
