Farrell, just so you know, ode has a "ticket cacheing" feature; any b*
command which starts up causes the current ticket to be cached, and, if
the ticket expires, the command completes anyway, since it references the
cached copy of the ticket, not the real ticket.
Note that another b* command run in parallel can interfere with this scheme.
