What can you see via /usr/sde/osf1/build/...?

You should be able to get a current record of the locations of
the various trees by looking at /usr/sde/disks/odefstab. If you
do "showmount -e <hostname>", you should be able to see if one
of the hosts is declining to export to you, but most of the
trees appear to be exported to Everyone.

if you "showmount -e <hostname>" you see something like:

<yucky> showmount -e flambe | head
export list for flambe:
/usr/share/man (everyone)
/usr/sde (everyone)
/var/adm/crash pearly
/var/adm/ris/dsk1/ris0.alpha/kit (everyone)
/var/adm/ris/dsk1 production,ravine,bedrock.zk3.dec.com,be
drock,odie.unx.dec.com,kodak.pa.dec.com,seahorse,juno10.zko.dec.com
/var/adm/ris/dsk1/ris0.alpha (everyone)
/var/adm/ris/dsk4/ris2.alpha xylem,axemax
/var/adm/ris/dsk4 production,ravine,bedrock.zk3.dec.com,be
drock,odie.unx.dec.com,kodak.pa.dec.com,seahorse
/var/adm/ris/dsk4/ris2.alpha/kit (everyone)

... but this doesn't mean that you can mount. Sometimes
we use "mountd -d" to prevent mounts from out of the
	zk3.dec.com domain.

We would prefer that you do not NFS mount from zk3.dec.com.
The preferred method of acquiring the backing trees in a
remote site is using the ODE tool "sup".
