Nolan, is this a new pool? Check the ownerships of the kxct.conf files;
(and links) they need to be owned by devbld or whoever is the submit owner.
Try running "check_ode server" on the submit host. Can you examine
the src/kxct.conf file and it is readable and looks ok (i.e. contains the
right architecture paths)?

Hi,
I'm getting following error message when I try to
run any b-commands:
showme:layered.bl01> blog ase.ch-hard
[ ./servers/ase_gd/ase.ch-hard ]
kxct: Invalid kxct config: /usr/doc/osf1doc/layereddocs/rcs/src/kxct.conf
read failed: No such file or directory
kxct: Invalid kxct config: /usr/doc/osf1doc/layereddocs/rcs/src/kxct.conf
read failed: No such file or directory
kxct: Invalid kxct config: /usr/doc/osf1doc/layereddocs/rcs/src/kxct.conf
read failed: No such file or directory
blog: The following rcs command failed:
authcover rlog -r ./servers/ase_gd/ase.ch-hard,v
Does this look familiar?
Let me know if you want output from using -debug or with AUTHCOVER_DEBUG
set.
Thanks much.

Hi.
I get the following error when trying to do a blog from within a sandbox
backed by v20supportx.nightly.
% blog -r Imakefile
[ ./server/Imakefile ]
kxct: Invalid kxct config: /usr/sde/osf1/rcs/x11/src/kxct.conf
read failed: Operation would block
blog: The following rcs command failed:
authcover rlog ./server/Imakefile,v
The directory /usr/sde/osf1/rcs does not exist on useg01 (where I mount
/usr/sde from) or on useg02 or quarry.
Can you help me? I need this fixed ASAP.
Thanks,
John F.

hi,
not unlike a cool and unusual form of punshiment, buffer is
again giving us problems.
It looks like we are loosing another disk. This time it's the
X11 rcs pool. I suspect this is still fallout from the power
hit we had a few weeks ago.
We'll need to take the filesystem offline. Hopefully, we will
not need to take the system down.

Mail went out to osf_developers at 11: 42 this morning indicating that the
X RCS pool disk was bad and was going offline to be replaced and restored.
Sorry, but it's not complete yet.

Hi,
I'm getting the following error when I try to bsubmit a file.
Nothing has changed over the last couple of weeks (that I can
think of) except that it used to work and now doesn't!
The error:
read: Error 0
kxct: Invalid kxct config: /usr/doc/osf1doc/basedocs/build/osf1books.goldminor/src/kxct.conf
Thanks for any help.

In your sandbox, do an "sbinfo source_host" and tell me what it says.
It should say "secret".

Subj: Re: Invalid kxct config
The problem was that it DID say secret. Your source_host should be
ronyun. The change was to change the line:
source_host ronyon
to
replace source_host ronyon
This was due to the global rc changes for secret.
