I can't explain how you got this error. There have been some troubles
with lastin:/usr/sde, but you shouldn't even have been able to run
bsubmit at all if that's what was wrong.
First, try again. If the error is consistent, then do the bsubmit with
the -debug flag, just to get a little more info that might help in
tracking down the problem.
