Subj: problems with "ode" install command
Jim, can you put together a gen-ptt report listing problems caused by the
ode install command? These need to get attention and get addressed.
The only thing I know about is that, even though we've created a set of
local defaults in /usr/sde/lib/templates/zk3.dec.com, they don't always
seem to be used, and explicit entries are created in rc.config, eg for
xntp setup, pointing to other domains like zso and unx and the non-existent
aosg.gsf.

I replied privately to Ric that only the kerberos 750 port is needed on
ODE clients that only need to run kinit.
The ode install script causes more problems than it solves, so I advise
people not to run it.
