Hi Folks: 	

I am trying to merge kernel/streamsm/svvs.c from sterling to Gold OS. When I 
checked out the file and checked in, it worked fine. I built kernels etc.. 
everything worked fine.

Now on trying to submit a file, a fatal error  of the file being defunct shows 
up and submit fails.

Help !!!!

We need the file to be valid file. BTW, if a file is defuncted should bco and 
bci be allowed ??!!>??

I realised that. It should not have been defuncted in the first place. However, can some 
one fix it for me.

Sashi, as you will recall, you asked me to do this.  I wanted to leave svvs.c
in place (since it wasn't even getting built), but you insisted I remove it.
