Subj: gendatafile is broken - again
I Ptt'ed this a month or two ago. If a file has the execute bit
set in the "others" field, gendatafile bails out and does nothing.
We replaced our copy with an older working one, but on Sept 8, we supped
down a newer version and it still has this bug. This has caused us some
time loss as we now have kitted trees which now have to be restripped and
rekitted.
Please remove this from the sup collection until it is verified that it is
fixed.
We have replaced our local copy with the previous one.
