Subj: Re: expiring principals
Finding out from a filed "kinit" has got to be among the worst possible
times to find out one's principal has expired. It has a tendancy to occur
without regard to whether someone from admin will be around to reinstate
you and you were presumably doing the kinit to get some work done.
Is it possible for someone to examine the expiration dates on principals
and notify anyone whose principal is expired or will be expiring within
the next 35 days? I wouldn't want to ask for automatic renewals, but,
forewarned, we can at least avoid the most frustrating problems.
