If one is editing in an srequest session how does one
abort the session and terminate the srequest application
without any remnants - log files, mail to people, etc.?

When you quit out of your editor, srequest will then ask
you if you want to send the form. enter 'n'.
A copy of your edited form will be saved in /tmp but no
form or mail will be sent.
